Plug in your sources, clean your data, and watch performance marketing soar—flat fee, zero drama. Get started with a discovery call.

How we measure this: AI visibility is tracked weekly across Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, Claude and Grok against a fixed set of booking-intent prompts. Traffic is pulled from Google Analytics, revenue is confirmed against the booking backend, and content shipped is tracked separately, so every figure below can be traced from a specific prompt to a specific page to a specific booking.

Twenty prompts. Zero mentions.

In February we asked the question a guest would actually ask, over and over: what's the best luxury villa in Las Catalinas? The assistant returned a confident, well-written shortlist every time. Villa Alberti was on none of them. Across the full baseline period we tracked, February 9 through March 15, overall AI visibility sat at just 0.83%, and nearly every non-branded discovery prompt, the questions a guest actually types before booking, returned at 0%.

The property was never the problem. A 12,500 square foot fully staffed estate, seven suites, a 40-foot waterfall through the middle of the house. But an AI cannot recommend what it has never read, and a Google ranking does not carry over into the answer. SEO ranks a page. AEO puts you inside the response. GEO makes you the name the model reaches for first.

For a property where one booking is worth six figures, being absent from the answer is being absent from the shortlist.

We started with the questions, not the keywords.

The prompt set came first: the questions that actually precede a booking, from head to head comparisons to wedding and reunion planning to group logistics. We measured where Villa Alberti stood on every one, tracked it weekly, and published against the gaps.

Prompt performance dashboard showing Villa Alberti's mention rate, trend and position across tracked booking prompts
Exhibit 1. Every tracked prompt, with mention rate and trend. Villa Alberti now returns on 26.72% of responses about villas with a children's suite, 29.81% on the family reunion prompt, and 20.93% on the private wedding venue prompt, up from 0% at baseline.

Sixty articles followed between late February and September, each answering one real question outright rather than filling a calendar. A sample:

An AI answer that argues for you

AI Answer, Unprompted:

"Villa Alberti is the one I'd pick."

That is ChatGPT today, answering a guest looking for somewhere to hold a private wedding near Las Catalinas. Unprompted, unpaid, and ranked above two competitors.

Exhibit 2. The model does not just list the property. It argues for it and puts competitors underneath.

And it holds across platforms. By September 7, overall visibility had climbed to 12.86%, roughly a 15x increase from the February baseline, with presence spread across Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, Claude and Grok rather than concentrated in one source. In the baseline period, the competitive set was just as invisible as Villa Alberti; this wasn't a category Villa Alberti was behind in, it was one nobody had claimed yet.

Exhibit 3. Visibility by AI source as of September 7, tracked across 58 prompts. Perplexity leads at 15.41%, followed by ChatGPT at 13.17% and Gemini at 11.76%.

The blog content built for this program now accounts for roughly a third to nearly half of all site traffic, 34 to 43% of sessions, active users and new users between March 1 and September 9. And on August 12, a guest asked Perplexity where to stay near Las Catalinas and was pointed to the Villa Alberti vs. Westin Reserva Conchal comparison, published back in May. That inquiry is now $100,000+ in booked revenue for the property.

Visibility is a number. Revenue is the result.

Plenty of tools will tell you whether an assistant knows your property exists. Worth knowing, and not the same as revenue. The question for any owner is simpler. When a guest asks an AI where to stay, does your name come out of its mouth, and does it turn into booked revenue?

Book an AEO audit and we will show you the exact prompts your guests are asking and where you sit on them today.
